Action Weeks 2016 in Great Britain


Chernobyl Children’s Life Line organised many different Actions for the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster. There was Cathedral and church services including Canterbury Cathedral, all were attended by many dignitaries and members of the public. Candles were lit in remembrance of those who lost their lives as a result of the disaster.


The charity had invited liquidators and witnesses from Belarus and the Ukraine to tell their stories in Schools and other various events organised by CCLL.

 BBC news and various radio stations, newspapers up and down the country interviewed members of the charity and the liquidators

Chernobyl Children’s Life Line provides recuperation holidays for children still living in areas affected by the Chernobyl disaster in the Ukraine and Belarus
